Come visit our wonderful little store! Hours are Tuesday through Friday, 10:30 am – 5:30 pm; Saturday 10:30 am – 4 pm

Our Downtown Dixon location is 141 North First Street, right next door to Every Baking Moment. We offer clothing, toys, books, baby gear, and classses for the childbearing years.

We sell new and high-quality recycled children’s clothing and gear for children and mothers-to-be. This includes name brand clothes, shoes, and accessories as well as baby furniture, baby equipment, and unique items used by nursing mothers. We offer quality toys and books. While we also sell beautiful new clothing for babies and children, 75 percent of our inventory is purchased directly from our customers.

We buy almost everything outright although we do have a consignment program for larger or more expensive items such as cribs, jogging strollers, and designer items.

To better prepare people for the lifetime change their baby will bring, we teach an 8-week natural childbirth course which includes topics of exercises, nutrition, gestation, being comfortable in pregnancy, the mechanics of labor, postpartum, breastfeeding, and newborn care. The strong emphasis is on relaxation and special techniques are taught in each class. We are constantly looking for new classes that will offer parents or grandparents support and skills for their new roles.

We are excited to offer again our new moms support group on Wednesday mornings, 9-10 am at the shop. No registration is required and it is a great opportunity to meet other new moms in Dixon!

We just finished a 4-week video seminar by Focus on the Family’s Dr. James Dobson titled, ‘Bringing Up Boys.’  This was a terrific guide to help participants appreciate the unique characteristics of boys and gave logical guidance for raising sons.
